I bought this monitor new and it has never left my desk. There are no missing pixels, scratches that I can see or other blemishes on the screen. I am not saying it is absolutely perfect but very nearly. It does need a cleaning but otherwise it is fine. I have never had any issues, no service calls or anything.
The stock listing info says Model M8536 while this one is actually M8537. I don't think it changes any specs but I was unable to get the proper part number to come up in 's stock info.
The serial number is CY3331AWLFA if anyone wants to check with Apple for a service history. I called once before buying a laptop and they were quite forthcoming with info.
The monitor will ship in an original box, insured via UPS or Fedex.
