I purchased this D4 approximately 2 Yearsago. It is one of two bodies that I have and was on standby as a backup. I onlyhad cause to use it twice and as such it has had less than 6,500 actuations (infact my lightroom library has the last shot taken as 6,157). The camera waspurchased in Hong Kong and brought over to Australia a year ago. It has notbeen used in this time and has sat in its box with all the accessories anddocumentation it came with. Please note that the hardcopy manuals are inChinese – but not sure if anyone reads these anymore. Soft copies are providedon a disk and available from the Web.
All the protective coverings are present(for the camera, charger, battery etc.) and the contents will appear to the newowner when they open the box exactly as a brand new one would. The carry strap,cables and CD haven’t even been opened.
I cannot see any scratches, scuffs or evenmarks anywhere on the body – not even on the base plate. The screens areimmaculate. Neither a flash or tripod has been used. There is one hair finemark on one of the charger battery covers, but even the charger is in almostmint condition. This camera is as close to new as a used D4 can be.
Background
I seem to have gone from being an amateurphotographer to a collector of high-end lenses, bodies and accessories. I lovecameras and my weakness is to always buy the latest great body or lens, eventhough I don’t really need it. It is time to sell-off some systems and go backto shooting rather than investing and hoarding. I have way too much moneytied-up in as new items – so my loss is your potential gain.
I am an amateur/recreational photographerand treat all my equipment with a paranoid level of care. Most of it is likenew, and heavily researched before purchase to make sure I am only buying thebest.
Usually, I just open the box, take out thelens or body, and leave the rest of the accessories and documentationuntouched. Often, the lens or body willonly be used a handful of times and then placed back in the box.
