This is a Sony PMW-EX3 XDCAM SXS 3CMOS HD Digital Video Camera. It is a very high qualityCamcorder. The camcorder stillworks well. It records very high quality video.The camcorder body is in fair condition: The handle has cracks as shown in photos.After put some tape it will not affect the handling. It has been used that way for a long time and itstill works well. Also the camcorder body shows scratches due to the normal use. The bottom battery cap is cracked but this won\'t affect the function. The base plate mounting place was tapes but nothing wrong with it. Put tape there for better gripping. The viewfinder loupe and eye cup part is missing (as shown in photos). Alto the microphone holder is missing.
So overall this is a camcorder with high hours of use. The body is in fair condition because of the handle crack. But it works well.
The lens glass is clean and clear,without any damage or scratch,with UV filter to protect the lens.
Hour meter shows it has1276hours of use. It is a work horse. It records on solid state memory cards, not on tape. So the hour meter only means the total power up time. It is switchable between NTSC and PAL standards.
