What is a NAS?
Basically NAS, Network Attached Storage or Network Storage, is identical to a computer without monitor, mouse and keyboard. It also has CPU, RAM, motherboard, HDDs and Operating System (OS), known as firmware.

Why do I need a NAS?

WebAccess from buffalonas.com allows users to access their Buffalo's NAS anywhere via Internet. Alternatively if you know how to do Port Forwarding in routers, you can also access the NAS remotely without using manufacture sites.
