This camera has excellent built quality with a razor sharp five element f 1.7 Zuiko lens, known for its superb quality. It is a fully automatic manual range finder camera,,,.camera chosen ideal shutter speed and aperture combination is shown in the bright viewfinder and the exposures are spot on.I never any under or over exposed photo with this camera..Though designed to use 625 mercury battery of 1.35 volts , no longer available, it can still use the easily available 625A alkaline cell. It does not suffer from oil clogged aperture blade problem like Olympus RD.. A superb rangefinder of 1970 vintage from Olympus.

Great picture quality, and a decent viewfinder to start a newbie off with - All you need to do is focus, the camera sets aperture and shutter speed. Perhaps the only small niggle I can find is the rangefinder is a little vague compared to best in class. Buy a cheap flash and you've got a great compact take-everywhere camera.

I like olympus 35 small cameras and point and shoot.i like the camera because of it size and easy to take photos with. and it has an excellent lens..nothing that I disliked.compares as is easy to carry and light again because of size.and very durable built.with some qualitis. tavros00
Apart from having to replace the Viewfinder/Rangefinder glass, the rest of the 35DC is in excellent condition and working perfectly with a new battery fitted. The lens is crystal clear, as are the Viewfinder and Rangefinder. All in all a very good camera.

I use this great little camera for street photography. Always B&W. The auto settings are perfect. I just have to point - focus and shoot. Love it.
