I bought this camera new from Ebay the other day 2/10. It works like a champ. Takes fantastic pictures. Years ago I thought the APS concept would really take-off. No more having to deal with strips of negatives because they are stored safely in the film cannister. Then digital photography happened and the rest is history. Anyway I got this camera for about 30 bucks and a hundred rolls of film for about 40 bucks. Be warned this film hasn't been made in years and has reached or passed it's expiration date so it's possible not every shot will be perfect. I was amazed at the quality of pictures that it gives. In fact I have since purchased 2 more of these cameras to give as gifts. I got a roll developed at Sam's for less than 5 bucks. If you're looking for a small, inexpensive film camera I think you'll be happy with this plus sometimes the panoramic feature is really nice.Read full review
This camera was purchased as a) a replacement for my old Advantix (which was not nearly so fancy) and b) as a backup for my digital camera in case it conked out or got lost while I was traveling and besides, I like the depth and feel of film. It is a great camera! The panoramic view option is terrific when you are looking at sweeping vistas or large monuments etc., and my digital does not offer anything like it. The Advantix actually came with a roll of film in it, which was a nice bonus. It is as good or better than described, and is easy to use / sort out. I like the feature of the lifting flash mechanism which turns the camera on and off. The Advantix is lightweight and convenient and I can't wait to see my prints from this last trip! The only downside to using this camera is that the film is expensive to buy and to process, and the panoramic view shots cost more than the standard ones. It's a great choice!Read full review
This is a great camera for anyone for anytime. It is waterproof, Has an automatic flash, LCD panel showing date/time/# of pictures, self timer, easy load APS film, 3 sizes to choose from for pictures, has a zoom in/out lens w/autofocus and easy hold grips on it so it does't slide out of hands easily and much, much more. All the advantix cameras are wonderful. I personally own the 350, 600, 750, 3800. Whether your young or old, or this is your fist or last camera, you can't beat the price, durability, options for a camera.
My Mom is in her 70's and isn't ready for a digital camera. When she lost the Advantix she had, she was heartbroken because she couldn't find a replacement in her area. Lucky for her, I searched EBAY. I ordered the camera and gave it to her as a Christmas gift. She was so happy that she could take pictures of the holiday events. Great camera for her and easy to use.
I had one of these cameras, and loved it. I took mine to key west for our daughters wedding. I had it in the camera bag, in a tote bag, and a granchild put a couple of pepsi in the tote bag, and somehow, sweat from the can leaked thru the zipper, shorted out the camera permanently. In fact, had to dismantle the camera to get the film out. Then I went to ebay to buy another!
