I had a 21 inch CRT monitor that was going bad so I thought I would replace it with one of these 20.1 inch LCD models. Nowhere on the box or in the sparce literature that was sent with it, did I see any mention of the fact that these things do not work well with video cards that are more than about 1 year old. I had to call tech support to get the thing to work at all. It is nice and bright but with my 2 year old video card, I am not able to get the correct resolution so the display is slighly warped out of shape. When you look at photos of people, they are shorter and wider than they should appear. In fact, there is only one resolution that I can use or I will not see anything at all. Also, there is a faint flickering which probably would disappear if I replaced my video card. All in all, I think it is a great monitor but you need a good quality video card with DVI output to drive it and do not expect much help from the extremely small instruction booklet.Read full review
I upgraded from a 21" Dell monitor to this 20.1" LCD. When I first ordered it I was a bit sceptical about an LCD monitor for graphics AND gaming. But within 10 minutes of testing it out with Photoshop, Illustrator, Battlefield2 and Doom III, i was impressed! 16ms was awesome, and blew away all the other LCD's I have used in the past. Colors, brightness, contrast were all superb, although I did have to tweak it to my needs. USB hub was fast and stable. Inputs for DVI, VGA, etc were all nicely displayed. Controls were easy to use as well. For gaming and graphics, this monitor did NOT let me down!
