My mother was looking for a 35mm camera because she does not want to use digital cameras. This camera looked like it would be easy to use and had zoom capabilities. I just received it today, so she hasn't used it yet, but it appears to be in very good condition. I am pleased so far and I'm sure she will be also.
This camera takes great pictures, but it rather large to carry around. I had a 140 zoom that took great pictures, but it no longer works. Thought this camera would be the same size as my 140, but is much larger and heavier. If you don't care about the size, this 160 zoom takes great pictures.
i brought this camera because i wanted a 35mm camera that can not only take really good pictures but would print out the date on each picture, i thought that because it said date in the description that it had that feature i also confirmed with the seller that it had that feature but once i got the camera home it did not, it has other good features like red eye reduction, flash on or off panaramic mode auto rewind ect, its a very nice camera but now i still have to go out and buy another one with date stamp, so if you are not concerned about date stamp this is the camera for you
I love everything about this camera! It's a "point and shoot" camera, but only "sort of." What I mean to say is that the Pentax IQZoom is very easy to use - just point and shoot - but it offers so much more. The camera is very versatile, but not in a way that's scary for someone who's not in a photography way. The controls are simple, intuitive, and if you're in a hurry, you don't even have to use them. The resulting pix are fabulous! bc
A good film camera, with a wide range of zoom available.
